Has both beta-1,3-glucuronic acid and beta-1,4-N-acetylgalactosamine transferase activity. Transfers glucuronicacid (GlcUA) from UDP-GlcUA and N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc)from UDP-GalNAc to the non-reducing end of the elongatingchondroitin polymer.
