Receptor for netrin required for axon guidance. Mediatesaxon repulsion of neuronal growth cones in the developing nervoussystem upon ligand binding. Axon repulsion in growth cones may becaused by its association with DCC that may trigger signaling forrepulsion. Also involved in corticospinal tract axon guidancesindependently of DCC.
