May play arole in the recruitment or occupancy of CREBBP at some ESR1 targetgene promoters. Mediates the side-chain deamidation of N-terminalglutamine residues to glutamate, an important step in N-end rulepathway of protein degradation. Does not act on substrates with internal or C-terminal glutamine and does not act on non-glutamine residues inany position.
