Receptor tyrosine kinase involved in nervous system andprobably heart development. Upon binding of its ligandNTF3/neurotrophin-3, NTRK3 autophosphorylates and activatesdifferent signaling pathways, including the phosphatidylinositol3-kinase/AKT and the MAPK pathways, that control cell survival anddifferentiation. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:25196463}. Plays an important role in the functional organizationof mitotic chromosomes. Exhibits low basal ATPase activity, andunable to polymerize. Proposed core component of the chromatin remodelingINO80 complex which is involved in transcriptional regulation, DNAreplication and probably DNA repair. Required for the recruitmentof INO80 (and probably the INO80 complex) to sites of DNA damage.Strongly prefer nucleosomes and H3-H4 tetramers over H2A-H2Bdimers, suggesting it may act as a nucleosome recognition modulewithin the complex.
