Can also use N-acetylmannosamine 6-phosphate and mannose 6-phosphate assubstrates to generate phosphorylated forms of Neu5Ac and KDN,respectively. | Serine/threonine kinase which plays an important role inthe regulation of electrolyte homeostasis, cell signaling,survival, and proliferation. Acts as an activator and inhibitor ofsodium-coupled chloride cotransporters and potassium-coupledchloride cotransporters respectively.
