May be related to cancer progression or tumor metastasisin a variety of organ sites, most likely through an interactionwith the actin cytoskeleton. Substrate recognition component of a SCF (SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex which mediatesthe ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation oftarget proteins.
