Putative alpha-1,2-glucosyltransferase, which adds thethird glucose residue to the lipid-linked oligosaccharideprecursor for N-linked glycosylation. Transfers glucose fromdolichyl phosphate glucose (Dol-P-Glc) onto the lipid-linkedoligosaccharide Glc(2)Man(9)GlcNAc(2)-PP-Dol (By similarity). Whencoupled to KCNH2 may reduce KCNH2 sensitivity to classicproarrhythmic drug blockade, possibly by mediating glycosylationof KCNH2 (PubMed:14525949). Has a role in maintenance of cochlearouter hair cell function (By similarity).{ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:P50076, ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q3UGP8,ECO:0000269|PubMed:14525949}. IGF-binding proteins prolong the half-life of the IGFsand have been shown to either inhibit or stimulate the growthpromoting effects of the IGFs on cell culture. They alter theinteraction of IGFs with their cell surface receptors.
