Smooth muscle cells (SM) and cardiac muscle cells-specific transcriptional factor which uses the canonical single ormultiple CArG boxes DNA sequence. Acts as a cofactor of serumresponse factor (SRF) with the potential to modulate SRF-targetgenes.
