The 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex catalyzes the overallconversion of 2-oxoglutarate to succinyl-CoA and CO(2) (Bysimilarity). The 2-oxoglutarate dehydrogenase complex is mainlyactive in the mitochondrion (PubMed:29211711).
