Down-regulates ESR1 protein levels through theubiquitination-proteasome pathway, regardless of the presence of17 beta-estradiol. Also involved in 17 beta-estradiol-induced ESR1degradation. Controls PGR protein levels through a similarmechanism. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:17347654,ECO:0000269|PubMed:21572428}. Lectin that binds to various sugars: galactose > mannose= fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine(PubMed:10224141). Acts as a chemoattractant, probably involved inthe regulation of cell migration (PubMed:28301481).{ECO:0000269|PubMed:10224141, ECO:0000269|PubMed:28301481}.
