Binds unprenylated Rabproteins and presents the substrate peptide to the catalyticcomponent B composed of RABGGTA and RABGGTB, and remains bound toit after the geranylgeranyl transfer reaction. The component A isthought to be regenerated by transferring its prenylated Rab backto the donor membrane.
