CCL4 | ALOX5AP |
Monokine with inflammatory and chemokinetic properties.Binds to CCR5. One of the major HIV-suppressive factors producedby CD8+ T-cells. Recombinant MIP-1-beta induces a dose-dependentinhibition of different strains of HIV-1, HIV-2, and simianimmunodeficiency virus (SIV). The processed form MIP-1-beta(3-69)retains the abilities to induce down-modulation of surfaceexpression of the chemokine receptor CCR5 and to inhibit the CCR5-mediated entry of HIV-1 in T-cells. MIP-1-beta(3-69) is also aligand for CCR1 and CCR2 isoform B. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:10540332,ECO:0000269|PubMed:12070155, ECO:0000269|PubMed:8525373}. | Required for leukotriene biosynthesis by ALOX5 (5-lipoxygenase). Anchors ALOX5 to the membrane. Binds arachidonicacid, and could play an essential role in the transfer ofarachidonic acid to ALOX5. Binds to MK-886, a compound that blocksthe biosynthesis of leukotrienes. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:2300173,ECO:0000269|PubMed:8440384}. |
Retention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features. Here, because of limited space for viewing, we only show the protein feature retention information belong to the 13 regional features. All retention annotation result can be downloaded at . * Minus value of BPloci means that the break pointn is located before the CDS. |
