Multifunctional GTPase involved in a variety of cellularprocesses including gene expression, cell migration, cellproliferation, oncogenic transformation and membrane trafficking.Accomplishes its multiple functions by interacting with distinctdownstream effectors. Acts as a GTP sensor for GTP-dependentexocytosis of dense core vesicles (By similarity).
