Has lipid phosphataseactivity and inactivates lysophosphatidic acid in seminal plasma. Isoform 2: the cellular form also has ecto-5'-nucleotidase activity in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons.Generates adenosine from AMP which acts as a pain suppressor.
