ZNF814 | PIK3CD |
Phosphoinositide-3-kinase (PI3K) that phosphorylatesPftdIns(4,5)P2 (Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate) to generatephosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3). PIP3 plays a keyrole by recruiting PH domain-containing proteins to the membrane, including AKT1 and PDPK1, activating signaling cascades involvedin cell growth, survival, proliferation, motility and morphology.Mediates immune responses. Plays a role in B-cell development, proliferation, migration, and function. Required for B-cellreceptor (BCR) signaling. Mediates B-cell proliferation responseto anti-IgM, anti-CD40 and IL4 stimulation. Promotes cytokineproduction in response to TLR4 and TLR9. Required for antibodyclass switch mediated by TLR9. Involved in the antigenpresentation function of B-cells. Involved in B-cell chemotaxis inresponse to CXCL13 and sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P). Required forproliferation, signaling and cytokine production of naive, effector and memory T-cells. Required for T-cell receptor (TCR)signaling. Mediates TCR signaling events at the immune synapse.Activation by TCR leads to antigen-dependent memory T-cellmigration and retention to antigenic tissues. Together with PIK3CGparticipates in T-cell development. Contributes to T-helper cellexpansion and differentiation. Required for T-cell migrationmediated by homing receptors SELL/CD62L, CCR7 and S1PR1 andantigen dependent recruitment of T-cells. Together with PIK3CG isinvolved in natural killer (NK) cell development and migrationtowards the sites of inflammation. Participates in NK cellreceptor activation. Have a role in NK cell maturation andcytokine production. Together with PIK3CG is involved inneutrophil chemotaxis and extravasation. Together with PIK3CGparticipates in neutrophil respiratory burst. Have important rolesin mast-cell development and mast cell mediated allergic response.Involved in stem cell factor (SCF)-mediated proliferation, adhesion and migration. Required for allergen-IgE-induceddegranulation and cytokine release. The lipid kinase activity isrequired for its biological function. Isoform 2 may be involved instabilizing total RAS levels, resulting in increased ERKphosphorylation and increased PI3K activity.{ECO:0000269|PubMed:20081091, ECO:0000269|PubMed:22020336}. |
Retention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features.
