Specificallyrecognizes H3 tails trimethylated on 'Lys-4' (H3K4me3), which marktranscription start sites of virtually all active genes. May alsoregulate transcription through direct binding to DNA ortranscription factors. | Binds ATP, opioids and phosphatidylethanolamine.
