May play a role in actin remodeling. Involved in thedissociation of the integrin-tensin-actin complex. EGF activatesTNS4 and down-regulates TNS3 which results in capping the tail ofITGB1. Seems to be involved in mammary cell migration. May beinvolved in cell migration and bone development (By similarity).{ECO:0000250, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17643115}. May play a role in the establishment and maintenance ofneuronal transmission and plasticity via its ubiquitin ligaseactivity. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and thendirectly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates.{ECO:0000269|PubMed:14561866}.
