Binds DNAcooperatively with E2F family members through the E2 recognitionsite, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3', found in the promoter region of a numberof genes whose products are involved in cell cycle regulation orin DNA replication (PubMed:8405995, PubMed:7739537). The E2F1:DPcomplex appears to mediate both cell proliferation and apoptosis.Blocks adipocyte differentiation by repressing CEBPA binding toits target gene promoters (PubMed:20176812).{ECO:0000269|PubMed:20176812, ECO:0000269|PubMed:7739537,ECO:0000269|PubMed:8405995}. | Catalytic component of a P4-ATPase flippase complexwhich catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled to the transport ofaminophospholipids from the outer to the inner leaflet of variousmembranes and ensures the maintenance of asymmetric distributionof phospholipids. Phospholipid translocation seems also to beimplicated in vesicle formation and in uptake of lipid signalingmolecules (Probable).
