May play metabolic roles in sperm maturation orfertilization (By similarity). Phospholipid transfer protein thatpreferentially selects lipid species containing a palmitoyl orstearoyl chain on the sn-1 and an unsaturated fatty acyl chain(18:1 or 18:2) on the sn-2 position. Able to transferphosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidyetanolamline (PE) betweenmembranes. {ECO:0000250, ECO:0000269|PubMed:15911624}. Clathrin is the major protein of the polyhedral coat ofcoated pits and vesicles. Two different adapter protein complexeslink the clathrin lattice either to the plasma membrane or to thetrans-Golgi network (By similarity). {ECO:0000250}.
