SAR1A-GTP-dependent assembly ofSEC16A on the ER membrane forms an organized scaffold defining anERES. Lectin that binds to various sugars: galactose > mannose= fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine(PubMed:10224141).
