CCNA2/CDK2 regulatory protein that transiently maintainsCCNA2 in the cytoplasm. {ECO:0000269|PubMed:17698606}. Plays a role in the microtubule-dependent coupling ofthe nucleus and the centrosome. Involved in the processes thatregulate centrosome-mediated interkinetic nuclear migration (INM)of neural progenitors and for proper positioning of neurons duringbrain development. Also implicated in the migration andselfrenewal of neural progenitors. Required for centrioleduplication and maturation during mitosis and subsequentciliogenesis (By similarity).
