Cell surface receptor that plays a functionallyredundant role in the inhibition of neurite outgrowth mediated byMAG (By similarity). Plays a functionally redundant role inpostnatal brain development. Contributes to normal axon migrationacross the brain midline and normal formation of the corpuscallosum. Does not seem to play a significant role in regulatingaxon regeneration in the adult central nervous system.
