Rab effector involved in exocytosis. May act as scaffoldprotein. Plays a role in dendrite formation by melanocytes(PubMed:23999003). {ECO:0000269|PubMed:23999003}. Component of the outer dense fibers (ODF) ofspermatozoa. ODF are filamentous structures located on the outsideof the axoneme in the midpiece and principal piece of themammalian sperm tail and may help to maintain the passive elasticstructures and elastic recoil of the sperm tail.
