Participates in the transfer ofmisfolded proteins from the ER to the cytosol, where they aredestroyed by the proteasome in a ubiquitin-dependent manner.Functions in BIK, MPZ, PKD1, PTCRA, RHO, STEAP3 and TRACprocessing.
