Negatively regulates stress-induced JNK activation andapoptosis by promoting MAP2K7 phosphorylation and inhibiting itsability to activate JNK. Following prolonged stress, anti-apoptotic effect stops because of degradation of RASSF7 proteinvia the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway.
