Cleaves peptide bonds on the C-terminal side of prolylresidues within peptides that are up to approximately 30 aminoacids long. Allows the formation of correctly charged Gln-tRNA(Gln)through the transamidation of misacylated Glu-tRNA(Gln) in themitochondria.
