Cleaves C-terminal amino acids linked to proline inpeptides such as angiotensin II, III and des-Arg9-bradykinin. Thiscleavage occurs at acidic pH, but enzymatic activity is retainedwith some substrates at neutral pH. The small GTPases Rab are key regulators ofintracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation oftransport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. Rabs cyclebetween an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound formthat is able to recruit to membranes different set of downstreameffectors directly responsible for vesicle formation, movement,tethering and fusion (By similarity). Required for maintaining thestructural integrity of the Golgi apparatus, possibly by mediatinginteractions with cytoplasmic scaffolding proteins. {ECO:0000250,ECO:0000269|PubMed:22188167}.
