Extremely potent competitive inhibitor of cAMP-dependentprotein kinase activity, this protein interacts with the catalyticsubunit of the enzyme after the cAMP-induced dissociation of itsregulatory chains. {ECO:0000250}. Lectin that binds to various sugars: galactose > mannose= fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine(PubMed:10224141).
