RPLP2

P05387

Component of the origin recognition complex (ORC) thatbinds origins of replication. DNA-binding is ATP-dependent. Thespecific DNA sequences that define origins of replication have notbeen identified yet. ORC is required to assemble the pre-replication complex necessary to initiate DNA replication. Bindshistone H3 and H4 trimethylation marks H3K9me3, H3K20me3 andH4K27me3. Stabilizes LRWD1, by protecting it from ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation. Also stabilizes ORC3.{ECO:0000269|PubMed:22427655, ECO:0000269|PubMed:22935713}. Plays an important role in the elongation step ofprotein synthesis.

check buttonRetention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features. Here, because of limited space for viewing, we only show the protein feature retention information belong to the 13 regional features. All retention annotation result can be downloaded at
