FusionProtFeatures for NR2F6_OCEL1 |
Main function of each fusion partner protein. (from UniProt) |
Hgene | Tgene |
NR2F6 | OCEL1 |
Transcription factor predominantly involved intranscriptional repression. Binds to promoter/enhancer responseelements that contain the imperfect 5'-AGGTCA-3' direct orinverted repeats with various spacings which are also recognizedby other nuclear hormone receptors. Involved in modulation ofhormonal responses. Represses transcriptional activity of thelutropin-choriogonadotropic hormone receptor/LHCGR gene, therenin/REN gene and the oxytocin-neurophysin/OXT gene. Repressesthe triiodothyronine-dependent and -independent transcriptionalactivity of the thyroid hormone receptor gene in a cell type-specific manner. The corepressing function towards thyroid hormonereceptor beta/THRB involves at least in part the inhibition ofTHRB binding to triiodothyronine response elements (TREs) byNR2F6. Inhibits NFATC transcription factor DNA binding andsubsequently its transcriptional activity. Acts as transcriptionalrepressor of IL-17 expression in Th-17 differentiated CD4(+) Tcells and may be involved in induction and/or maintenance ofperipheral immunological tolerance and autoimmunity. Involved indevelopment of forebrain circadian clock; is required early in thedevelopment of the locus coeruleus (LC).{ECO:0000269|PubMed:10644740, ECO:0000269|PubMed:10713182,ECO:0000269|PubMed:11682620, ECO:0000269|PubMed:18701084}. |
Retention analysis result of each fusion partner protein across 39 protein features of UniProt such as six molecule processing features, 13 region features, four site features, six amino acid modification features, two natural variation features, five experimental info features, and 3 secondary structure features. Here, because of limited space for viewing, we only show the protein feature retention information belong to the 13 regional features. All retention annotation result can be downloaded at . * Minus value of BPloci means that the break pointn is located before the CDS. |
