ATP-dependent annealing helicase that binds selectivelyto fork DNA relative to ssDNA or dsDNA and catalyzes the rewindingof the stably unwound DNA. Actsthroughout the genome to reanneal stably unwound DNA, performingthe opposite reaction of many enzymes, such as helicases andpolymerases, that unwind DNA.
