Integrin alpha-1/beta-1 is a receptor for laminin andcollagen. It recognizes the proline-hydroxylated sequence G-F-P-G-E-R in collagen. Involved in anchorage-dependent, negativeregulation of EGF-stimulated cell growth.{ECO:0000269|PubMed:15592458}. Extremely potent competitive inhibitor of cAMP-dependentprotein kinase activity, this protein interacts with the catalyticsubunit of the enzyme after the cAMP-induced dissociation of itsregulatory chains. {ECO:0000250}.
