Mayrecruit histone deacetylases (HDACs) to the p160coactivators/nuclear receptor complex to inhibit ligand-dependenttransactivation (PubMed:15184363). Has a role in proliferation anddevelopment of cortical neural precursors (PubMed:25556659). Acts as one of several non-catalytic accessorycomponents of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex that are thought tobe involved in linking dynein to cargos and to adapter proteinsthat regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 acts as amotor for the intracellular retrograde motility of vesicles andorganelles along microtubules.
