Lectin that binds to various sugars: galactose > mannose= fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine(PubMed:10224141). This protein promotes the GTP-dependent binding ofaminoacyl-tRNA to the A-site of ribosomes during proteinbiosynthesis.
