TNFSF12-TNFSF13

Transcriptional regulator that recognizes the coresequence 5'-TAAACA-3'. Binds to NFAT-like motifs (purine-rich) inthe IL2 promoter (PubMed:1339390). Positively regulates WNT/beta-catenin signaling by translocating DVL proteins into the nucleus(PubMed:25805136). Also binds to HIV-1 long terminal repeat. Maybe involved in both positive and negative regulation of importantviral and cellular promoter elements (PubMed:1909027).{ECO:0000269|PubMed:1339390, ECO:0000269|PubMed:1909027,ECO:0000269|PubMed:25805136}. Lectin that binds to various sugars: galactose > mannose= fucose > N-acetylglucosamine > N-acetylgalactosamine(PubMed:10224141). Acts as a chemoattractant, probably involved inthe regulation of cell migration (PubMed:28301481).{ECO:0000269|PubMed:10224141, ECO:0000269|PubMed:28301481}.
