Plays a role in the regulation of cell morphology andcytoskeletal organization. Required in the control of cell shapeand migration. Required for developmental angiogenesis (Bysimilarity). In this process, required for microtubulereorganization and for efficient endothelial cell elongation. Inquiescent endothelial cells, triggers rearrangement of the actincytoskeleton, but does not alter microtubule alignement.{ECO:0000250|UniProtKB:Q6NXC0, ECO:0000269|PubMed:21834987,ECO:0000269|PubMed:22275430}. Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. Itbinds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the betachain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha chain.
